This is a good way for everyone to keep in touch until the new Coffeehouse comes into being.
I'm Chuck of Swank Cake Design (we are always in and out of Mr. Toads with our cakes).
Hi, everyone : )

A cup of fine coffee can be a wonderful thing, but it's enhanced twelvefold when shared with others. Whether in person or virtually, I'm very glad for being able to share via this forum. How great!

Count me in! I'm Patrick O'Hannigan, one of the ne'er-do-wells in the Saturday morning bible study at St. Mike's who christened Mr. Toad's "Our Lady of Toads" just for fun. But even without the rest of THAT crew, I'd be a regular.

Not sure how many people will actually see this, but a few words from that great American philosopher, Kermit the Frog, seem appropriate:
"For the truth that binds us all together I would like to say a simple prayer: That at this special time You will have true peace of mind And love to last throughout the coming year."
(from the album, John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together)

It seems that a lot of people have seen it, but not many have joined. So, folks, join in, and continue the cameraderie! The doors may close, but Mr. Toad's lives on. (Even Kermit knew that).

So what happened? I went out of town for 2 weeks for the holiday and I came back and it's gone. Is Mr Toads gone for good, or is it moving/remodeling, or what? My fiancee and I always loved going in the evening's for a treat there, it's a bummer if it's completely gone

Hello...I went by Mr. Toad's today and saw that they were closed. Can anyone tell me if they've opened at a new location, or are they closed for good?
If so, it's a shame...I've been going there for years. I'll miss it.

I am reminded of a troubled time about 10 years ago when a tornado blasted through our town, and through our living room, demolishing our house. Needless to say, it was a traumatic event. However, in about a year, we had rebuilt the house, and added some nice features along the way. The result was a beautiful new house, something we would not have had the will (or the money) to do without the storm. I look forward to the rebuilt Mr Toad’s, wherever and whenever that might be.
